for the presence of almighty god, his guidance and aid to the compiler, and
greeting to prophet Muhammad saw, so that the report of industrial working
practice in ALVIN JAYA MOTOR on 27 July – 9 September can be complite.
The writer wish to thanks all those who have
helped in writing this report, so this report can be completed, either from the
ALVIN JAYA MOTOR or from SMK 1 SRAGI. Don’t forget to tutors

CHAPTER I
INTRODUCTION
Industrial
working practice is activity study which to do in the voacational high school
after the students finishing the final exam. This activity usually axecuting
outside in the school, and the activity be valid for every student, is expected
according to the study program choosen.
Industrial
working practice is part of the educational curiculum of vocational school SMK
1 SRAGI. Wich was held for 2 months to support teaching and learning activites
of students. Through direct employment practices in the world work in
accordance with the specific courses to attain skills to work as a preparation
for a working proffesional in the world of work in accordance with the vision
of SMK 1 SRAGI.
The
Purpose of the Industrial Working Practice
a. The students can be practice the teory study
of school, when they to attend industrial working practice.
b.
Provide input placement opportunities and cooperation.
c. To improve expand and add skills that shape
the ability of students to enter employeement that expected according to the
study program choosen.
CHAPTER II
Brake Drum
·
Definition and various brake
Drum brake system
that is as slow down or stop the wheel slowly-lahan.Sistem drum brakes, which
require considerable pressure to push the piston siel.Setelah no hand brake
pressures are produced or gas pedal, the piston will push the brake, so drum
brake linings and rub against each other and resulted in a slowdown in the pace
of the wheel.

Disturbances Suffered is:
At braking does not work when the brake pedal
in a stampede Trta vehicles remain barjalan and no braking.
Cause:
1) Lack of brake fluid
2) There is a leak in the pipe / connection
3) The main cylinder lea
Solution:
1) Add the brake fluid
2) Locate the leak and repair
3) Fix the main cylinder damage

Cause:
1) Canvas ren worn / damaged
2) loose wheel bearings
3) improper contact between the canvas and the drum
Solution:
1) Replace the brake pads
2) Allowance wheel bearing repair
3) Setting the contact between brake drum with canvas

1) Raise the vehicle with the jack
2) Loosen the bolts fastening the wheel
3) Remove the wheel
4) Remove the lid drum
5) Remove the brake shoes
6) Remove the spring Protects
7) Remove the hand brake cable
8) Remove the hand brake lever
9) Remove the wheel cylinder
10) Remove the wheel cylinder mounting bolts
11) Remove the hand brake cable cirdip and handbrake of the back plate
12) Remove the wheel nuts retainder
13) Use the STT to issue a shaft with a back plate
14) Remove the back plate



CHAPTER III
Correlation between industrial working
practice with the school subject
From
activity of industrial working practice, I can study to work in industry and
it’s also as realization for study in school with practice in industry.
Activity of industrial working practice it’s also to train skill of students to
work in industry to fit direction in school and I take direction of accountant,
when I to follow of industrial working practice in ALVIN JAYA MOTOR is not any correlation between industrial
working practice with the school subject, because for all to do assigment in
the industry is different when I am study in school, example : the journal
entry between industrial working pactice with the school subject is very
different and trial balance it’s also different, but from the experience, I can
know that the school subject when study in school sometime is different when in
industry.
Explanation about industrial working practice
Reason
of Prakerin
Industrial
Internship Program (PRAKERIN) is work experience with the comunity
participation and integration. The benefits of both programs industrial work
practice (PRAKERIN) which can feel the author is as follow :
1.
Expanding horizons in society, particularly in the field of agriallture
as well as flexibility in thought and action ;
2.
Cultivate and train mental in adrdressing social life and farming;
3.
Can combine and compare the theory with practice in the field ;
4.
Train yourself to be responsible, introspective and through in learning
and work ;
5.
Got knowledge and expectations about work experience as part of the
educational process ;
6.
Establish partherships between students with farmers and comunitres as
well as DU/DI
CLOSING
A. Conclusion
After
the implementation of thesis several conclusions that can be drawn by the
author.
a. Process of perfomance in accordance with the
theory that according to the standart improvements in the plant will be able to
deliver quality repair service / good service and high quality.
b. After a through investigation, inspection and
measucement components, has many components that do not fit standard repair, only
a few components are wort taking.
c.
Engine perfomance has been good in service increas.
d. Guidance of mentor teachers and the community
is still needed due to the limited knowledge that we have.
B.
Suggestion
1.
Advice for school :
a. Provision of equipment for the practice
equipment.
b. Provide a
more advanced practice equipment in accordance with technological develpoments.
c. Prioritize teachers teaching more
reliable.
d. The school
gives very clear in theory and practice lesson so that students can apply in
the workplace with easy.
e. The school
entered into a collaboration with the workshop industry to faulitate students
in perfoming prakerin.
f. The school
provides additional theories about the latest technologies that have been
development.

Suggestion for workshop :
a. Increasing
copy of communication between students and the mechanical industry practices.
b. Cooperation
between mentors and students industrial work practices should always be concidered.
c. Completeness
of each mechanical devices need to be added to increas the ease of vehicles and
students who are conducting prakerin can also learn.
